Do you photograph weddings and bridal events?

Yes, I do but I shoot exclusively for Purple Tree Photography which means that all of my bridal work is managed and booked through them. You can check out their site here, if interested you can contact them here and ask for my availability for your special day!

What is your photography style?

I like to think that my style is modern, organic and elegant. While there is always some posing, I always work to capture every moment as naturally as possible, capturing real and authentic moments is my ultimate passion!

Did you go to school for photography?

I did, I went to Humber College and completed my Creative Photography Diploma with Honours.

How long have you been in the photography industry?

I graduated from my program in 2010 and jumped right in. I started out as a photographer's assistant and worked primarily within the commercial industry for about 2 years, after which I started taking on my own work photographing portraits, products, and corporate events. It wasn't until 2014 that I started working as a second wedding photographer, and that's when I truly discovered my love for special event photography.

What are your biggest pieces of advice regarding wedding photography?

I would have to say that one of my most important suggestions would be to make a list of all your family photo combinations before the wedding day. Believe it or not, the formal family photo session tends to be one of the most stressful and TIME-CONSUMING portions of the day. It's easiest to designate someone on the day-of who can have the list and help to organize family members, it can be a challenge wrangling everyone even if you've told them when and where to be for the photos!

I would also recommend thinking about travel time and how many locations you have throughout the day. Of course this isn't always possible but if you can, limit the amount of traveling you are doing - this will maximize what you get out of photography sessions.

Is travel time included in your packages?

Travel time throughout the day is including when booking. For example, if you select a 10 hour package from 11am-9pm any travel time needed from location to location throughout the day will be counted as part of the 10 hours.
