A WILDFLOWER BABY SHOWER AT FUNGHETTO TRATTORIA

Amanda's ‘Wildflower’ baby shower was hosted at Funghetto Trattoria in Woodbridge, Ontario, February 2023. Surrounded by close family and friends, you could feel the excitement and anticipation for the arrival of baby Charlotte. This one was extra special for me as I had photographed Amanda's bridal shower a few years prior, as well as her sister's engagement session. at the time, I WAS ALSO 8 MONTHS PREGNANT AND EXPECTING A BABY GIRL, IN FACT, THIS WAS THE LAST EVENT I PHOTOGRAPHED BEFORE THE ARRIVAL OF MY LITTLE ONE. ALL OF THE LADIES THERE TREATED ME LIKE FAMILY, SHARED IN MY EXCITEMENT AND MADE ME FEEL LIKE I WAS A PART OF THE PARTY. THE EVENT WAS SIMPLY STUNNING. AMANDA PICKED DELICATE FLOWERS WITH NOTES OF PINK, YELLOW AND WHITE TO HIGHLIGHT EACH GUEST TABLE. HER CREAM-COLOURED RIPPLED BACKDROP WAS ADORNED WITH NUDE-COLOURED BALLOONS AND A MATCHING RIPPLE PLINTH. THE CAKE WAS SIMPLE YET PERFECT IN ITS ELEGANCE AND THEME, A FEW GAMES WERE PLAYED, TOASTS WERE CELEBRATED, AND LOTS OF LAUGHS AND LOVE WERE SHARED. I’VE DONE A LOT OF EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY IN WOODBRIDGE, and I particularly like this venue for an intimate baby shower. As a photographer, i appreciated THAT there is lots of natural light and a spacious, well-lit spot to have your baby shower backdrop with a cake, plinth, balloons and plenty of space for group shots!
