SOFIA GRACE’S BAPTISM - PZA RESTAURANT + BAR

Sofia grace was a perfect angel for her baptism. upon arrival i focused on capturing all of her little details. Her mama already had everything beautifully laid out so i started with all of my wide shots first, then focused in on smaller vignettes of all her pretty things. I’m always sure to capture anything that’s been monogrammed and I always try to do a solo outfit shot when i can. after all details are captured i get started with invited everyone that the parents would like to include up to the bedroom to get the baby dressed. sometimes parents will dress the baby, other times god-parents will. It simple depends on the baby’t temperament and what everyone is comfortable with. after the baby is dressed i try to get some solo portraits of them, then portraits with the parents and god parents. if there are gifts i love to capture those moments especially if it involves putting jewelry on the child; this makes for great candid moments. afterwards family portraits will either take place at the home or after the mass at church. let’s not forget about reception coverage, this one still remains one of my all time favourite receptions to capture for details. the natural was to die for, the cake and balloon backdrop were over the top and the table details were beautiful. from a photographer’s perspective, I would highly recommend this venue. with that said this venue is a touch smaller on the inside so it would be more suited to an intimate gathering, but who doesn’t love that! love love loveD THIS ONE!!
